    Profile P

    Volvo once gave a tightening torque for the camshaft nut of 13 to 15 kgm (130 to 150 Nm ) at. Maintaining this torque carries a high risk of camshaft breakage during installation. A maximum torque of 8 kgm (80 Nm) must not be exceeded. For added security, Loctite should be used to secure the camshaft nut.
